PHOTO MOSAIC GUIDES
Make a photo mosaic in your mobile browser
Mosaicer is a free browser-based photo mosaic maker. Select your photos and start without installing an app or creating an account.
Choose the main image and tile photos
Open the home page, select Create a new mosaic, and choose one main image. Add your tile photos in the next step. If an external image server blocks access, importing its URL will fail; download the image and select the local file instead.
Preview at a smaller output size
Image processing uses your device memory. If large photos or many tiles make generation slow, reduce output scale and maximum tile count before trying again. With smart placement, you can compare it with standard placement in the preview. Keep the tab open during processing.
Download the result before closing the tab
Download a still mosaic as a PNG. The save location and opening behavior depend on your browser. Photos and edits stay in tab memory and are cleared when you refresh or close the tab. Check your downloaded file before ending your session.
If generation stops on mobile
Retry at 1× scale and reduce tile count. Close other memory-heavy tabs and keep the working tab open. Large originals are resized for processing, but decoding can fail before resizing if the browser cannot read the input. In that case, resize a copy using your device photo editor before importing it.
Check the saved file before leaving
Still results download as PNG; animated results use GIF. Open the file from your browser downloads or file app to verify its dimensions and content before closing the tab. Reloading clears the selected photos and editing state. A viewing package shares tile composition; it is not a project file that restores the full editing session.
